When will our tandem be ready?
We hold stock of nearly all of our frames. Once the order is confirmed we can then advise on the current build time, this is usually about 2 weeks, occasionally we can be as long as 4 weeks, but this is very unusual. How do I place an order?
In person is always great, we love to meet our customers, and we have test ride models of nearly every tandem we sell, so a visit to our showroom will be very worthwhile. If you wish to complete our sizing and which model enquiry forms on the website ahead of your visit, that will allow us to set up our test ride models to your dimensions more precisely.Alternatively by telephone, email or simply online. We supply a lot of tandems mail order both within the UK and in Europe and this is something we are very experienced at. So if you can't visit don't worry just pick up the phone to talk to us or ping us an email, or complete our sizing and which model enquiry forms on the website and we'll come back to you promptly.

We accept all major debit & credit cards, payment by bank transfer, cycle to work vouchers from The Green Commute Inititative and Cycescheme. We also offer 10 months interest free credit. All financial transactions are handled via our sister company, JD Tandems LLP, which is the retail side of our business, and all receipts, payments etc. will therefore be between you the customer and JD Tandems.

Receiving your tandem by courier – UK customers
We use Parcelforce, who operate a 48 hour large service within the UK. Note they do not deliver large items such as tandems north of Inverness, so if you are in the north part of Scotland, you might have to collect your tandem from their Inverness depot. We charge £175 for delivery. On the agreed delivery day someone will have to be available all day to take delivery. Our experience of their service in regard to reliability is excellent. However, if staying all day is not possible we can arrange to deliver your tandem to your work address or to a friendly neighbour. When your tandem leaves us it is usually boxed in a brand new card board box, it should arrive with you in a box that looks brand new, Parcelforce have never damaged one of our tandems before, we have had the odd broken mudguard but nothing that can't be easily resolved, but if the box looks damaged, please sign for the package as damaged.
Your tandem has been lovingly built, checked and then test ridden, we then remove the front wheel, mudguard (and front pannier rack if specified). The front & rear handlebars are removed, saddles are removed or inserted lower into the frame, and your pedals will need re-fitting. The re-assembly needed is something most of our customers are happy doing, and we provide full instructions, but if you are not confident in your skills take the tandem to a bike shop for re-assembly by a professional.
